DomCon’s Mission is to fulfill the vision of Mistress Cyan to bring a better understanding of BDSM in The Adult Alternative Lifestyle and to bring together those in the BDSM Lifestyle, Leather, Fetish and Professional Communities to share our common interests, celebrate our diversity, and promote awareness through education with demonstrations, seminars, panel discussions, social events, and activities. The event is held twice a year, every May in Los Angeles and evry October in New Orleans. Having started in Los Angeles and Atlanta in 2004, DomCon is now celebrating it’s 20year. Yhe event features a vendor hall, classes and workshops, socials, play parties, Meet & Greets and more. DomCon is 108+ and open top all levels of experience and newbies are welcome to come, learn, and make new friends.
This is the party for you if you are new to the scene (1-2 years or less) OR are bringing someone new. Don’t worry – even if you aren’t new, this party is open to ALL! It will feature more seasoned volunteers to run a handful of various tasting booths, including hands-on play, crops and canes, paddles, floggers, and rope (and a special surprise booth!) Our Volunteer Assistants are there to not only welcome everyone, but also answer questions, help you through the process of negotiation for a scene, and/or simply point you in the right direction. In addition, there will be experienced practice bottoms in case you want to try something new from the Top side! Club Awakening is held monthly since 2016 at Sanctuary Studios LAX in Los Angeles, CA.
